Escalante Outfitters is the starting place for your Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument or Boulder Mountain adventure. Stay with us in our cozy log cabins that sleep 2-4, or have a more nature-based experienced and stay in our tent camping area!
Because we are in the heart of the Grand Staircase, you will have a comfortable place to rest your head, and a good meal after a day of exploring the rugged canyon country.

Escalante Outfitters is the starting place for your Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument or Boulder Mountain (Dixie National Forest Aquarius Plateau) adventure. Escalante Outfitters is located on Scenic Highway 12, 50 miles East of Bryce Canyon National Park. The front yard of Escalante Outfitters is the Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument which is 1.9 million acres of spectacular scenic, historic (cultural and natural), and scientific resources. Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument borders Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The backyard of Escalante Outfitters is Boulder Mountain, a beautiful part of Dixie National Forest filled with lakes and streams, lending to some of the best fly-fishing in the area. The outdoor recreation opportunities from Bryce Canyon to Escalante to Glen Canyon to Boulder Mountain are endless.

Here at the Escalante Outfitters, we have 7 cozy log cabins that sleep two people in either a Queen or a Bunk Bed. Because we are in the heart of the Grand Staircase, you will have a comfortable place to rest your head, and a good meal after a day of exploring the rugged canyon country.
Each cabin has fresh clean sheets, blankets, towels, soap, power, heat/air-conditioning, and a reading lamp. There is a bath house centrally located for all lodging guests to use. All cabins are non-smoking. Dogs allowed for a $10 fee per night.

Looking for a more private experience? We have one larger, deluxe cabin which sleeps 4 and has its own bathroom. Your family will sleep soundly in its queen bed and a sleeper sofa in the common room.
You’ll be able to relax after exploring the beautiful terrain and be ready to do it again the next day. The front porch offers lovely views to enjoy our one of a kind sunsets. All cabins are non-smoking. NO pets allowed in this cabin.

Our campground offers an ideal place to pitch a tent. The campsite features individual tent pads, a cooking pavilion with picnic tables, and a large fire ring with benches for campfires.
When camping at Escalante Outfitters you can take advantage of the free internet and hot showers while traveling through Southern Utah on Scenic Highway 12. The campground has limited sites and is best suited for couples and solo travelers. Camping is safe, shaded, quiet and clean. Dogs allowed for a $10 fee per night.
POLICIES
PET POLICY
Cabins #1 - #7 and the campground are dog friendly but we do have a $10 pet fee per night. We also give you a sheet to use to protect the cover. Please talk to our staff if you are bringing your pet. There are NO pets allowed in our Deluxe Family Cabin.
RESeRVATION/CANCELLATION POLICY
All Cabins are non-smoking.
Credit card is taken at time of reservation to hold the room.
Reservation will be paid for at the time of check-in.
No Charge for 7-Day advance notice of cancellation.
Cancellation with less than 7-day advance notice will be charged for the reservation.
No-Shows will be charged for the full stay.
Pets allowed in Cabins #1 - #7 and campground. A $10 fee per pet per night applies. No pets allowed in our Deluxe Family Cabin.
AMENITIES
LAUNDROMAT
We have a coin-operated laundromat on-site. The facilities are located close to the campground pavilion and offer a place to do dishes as well as a large bathroom.
SHOWERS
Access to our shared bathroom is included when you stay with us. Individual showers are also available for purchase at our front desk for those just traveling through.
FREE WIFI
Connect with friends and family, log in while working remote, and share photos with friends and family back home with our free wifi in our restaurant and cafe.
